Hey everyone...my name is Lindsay and this is my first homepage with FortuneCity. I've had alot more homepages but never really had the motivation to sit down and finish them. Let me first start off by telling you a little about myself. As I said, my name is Lindsay. I'm 17 years old (almost 18...woohoo!) and I live in that one state that no one's ever heard of...New Mexico. There's not much to do here and I never really have time for anything anyway because of my job. I work at a little drive-in restaurant called Sonic. Some of you may have heard of it if you come from the South and some of you may not have. I really can't stand my job too much. My co-workers are all pains in my ass. Anyway if I ever do acutally have a day off then I like to relax and basically do nothing. I'm working to save up enough money to buy my first car...yes, my FIRST car. I don't even have a license yet...pathetic. Most of my friends are spoiled brats and had their cars handed to them which really sucks because I have to bum rides off of them. People tell me I have a great sense of humor but I'm a really sarcastic person which can cause quite a few conflicts sometimes...not that I really care. I'm the kind of person that's going to tell it like it is and not lie to spare other people's feelings...call me insensitive if you will. Wow, I'm making myself sound really bad...I'm actually pretty easy to get along with. I enjoy watching basketball and I used to play a few years back...I wasn't very good though. I also like watching soccer, mostly because the guys are HOT! My favorite color is silver but there are a few others I like too such as black, blue, green, purple...I like dark colors. My musical interests mostly include Rap, R&B, Alternative, and that crap like the Beastie Boys and Kid Rock. I'm just about to start my Freshman year in college this fall and I'm a little excited and a little nervous at the same time. I plan on studying Elementary Education as my major and English as my Minor. This is the crazy section where I give my family some mention...what a rip off, I thought this was MY page. Just kidding. Well, there are 4 kids in my family. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. I'm only fully related to 1 of my sisters and the other 2 kids are my half siblings from my mothers' previous marriage. My dad has 2 other sons floating around somewhere and I've only met 1 of them once so I don't really considere myself related. My 2 sisters are 26 and 19 and my brother is 21. Yes, I'm the youngest but I think I'm one of the smarter kids...haha. My oldest sister does some secretive for the United States Air Force, my brother is a bum but he's in the United States Army reserve, my other sister works at a water store (yes it's true folks, there's a store that actually sells water...who'd have thought?) and I of course work at Sonic. My mom is a Family Liaison for the New Mexico Department of Health and my dad does quotes for a plumbing supply company. My dad is also a former United States Marine and a retired United States Air Force MSGT. That's about all I have to say about them...back to ME. Hahaha, just kidding, I'm not that conceited. Since no one in my family has a clue as to how to make a homepage, I have no links for you...not that you'd actually visit them anyway right? Come on...tell the truth. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Let's see, I now have to give friends a little publicity. I have a few good friends that I'd like to mention. First off there's Malia. She's my best bud in the whole world. I've known her for 6 years now and she's the coolest person I know. She moved away when we were Juniors in high school but it hasn't changed anything between us. She now lives in Utah and I plan on going up to visit one of these days. Next, there's Domenica. She and I are pretty good friends although I have to admit that we definitely have our differences. A word of advice...don't work at the same place as your friends, it might cause you to fight. Outside of work, she's really cool to hang out with. We never really have much to do but we always find something pointless like trying to get people to follow us around town...I know, we're stupid...haha. Next on the list is my friend Melissa. She's so cute at a whole 5' and probably 90 pounds. She and I had a class together when we were Seniors where all we'd do is look at the dirty sex questions in Mademoiselle magazine. I guess we should get lives. Then there's Michelle. She's one of my more serious friends. We have fun and all but if I need to give or get advice, it's usually from her. Rebecca is one of my more insecure friends. She's the type that looks for approval from everyone. I can also go to her if I need to be serious for a few seconds. My friend Lyndsay is one that I met on the Internet but I feel like I've known her forever. We always end up talking about something completely retarded but it's funny as hell. I think we're long lost sisters. I actually consider my real sister, Sara (the 19 year old), one of my friends. She's evil and all like older sisters usually are but I know I can go to her if I'm in trouble and she knows that I'm here if she needs me. Jared is another of my Internet buddies. I've known him for a while and he's the one that I'm always trying to help. Sometimes he takes my advice and sometimes he doesn't which is cool. I know that he's another one that would be here for me if I really needed it. He cracks me up which I find most appealing in a friend so if you're funny then be my friend damn it. Haha. My friends are kind of like my family when it comes to homepages...most of them don't know how to do it or they're just lazy bums.
